Roles and activities

Development and Design:

• Development of all frontend parts (front office and back office), as well as a large part of the backend.

• Structuring the project using the NX monorepo structure to improve modularity and reusability.

• Design and development of reusable UI components.

• Development of a custom UI library that respects the client's Figma charter.

• Development of Web APIs with NestJS.

• Manage the deployment of the application with Azure DevOps.

Collaboration:

• Work in collaboration with a PO and business managers.

• Close collaboration with external teams to resolve issues related to data flows from Salesforce.

• Frontal support intervention on other projects upon request.

• Development of a UI library for the external project "SefproGuard".

• Contribution to "ControlApp", another project, by developing essential UI components.

Maintenance and Resolution:

• Proactive resolution of bugs and performance issues to improve user experience.

• Ensure the migration of the application and the update of front and back libraries.

• Ensure the handover for maintenance to an Indian developer.

The main objective of the jsLabs project is to provide a set of up-to-date "hands-on" in a dynamic and modern web application developed with a MEAN technical stack composed of MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js (with their common point: JavaScript!) and following recent best practices in various areas such as:

• NgRx with the REDUX design pattern

• Routing

• ngx-translate, the internationalization (i18n) library for Angular

• Angular Material

• Bootstrap 4

• Responsive design

• Lazy loading of modules

• Jest Testing Framework

• Docker

Continuous Integration

This project uses GitLab CI/CD to run linters and tests on each commit.

It contains a portfolio section as well as many other more or less advanced features (File uploads, email sending, authentication, Sorting, Pagination, Filtering, Chat...). The idea is to keep it always synchronized with the releases of Angular and associated libraries.
