- Performing metallurgical expertise on components from foundry, forging, and additive manufacturing (stainless steels, titanium alloys, nickel, etc.).
- In-service failure and compliance analysis: identification of damage mechanisms (fatigue, corrosion, rupture), determination of root causes, and corrective recommendations in compliance with quality and client requirements.
- SEM/EDS Fractography: analysis of fracture surfaces to distinguish fracture mechanisms and identify crack initiation sites.
- Weld bead characterization: macroscopic and microscopic examinations, analysis of the heat-affected zone (HAZ), and defect detection.
- Vickers hardness measurements (HV): performing cross-sectional profiles and local mappings to verify material compliance.
