Gwenvaël Engel

Independent photographer based in Brittany, I discovered my passion for photography with film at a very young age. For over 10 years, I have been working all over the world.

I have worked in corporate communications, for UNESCO's cultural heritage, and as a reporter to highlight societal issues. My work is particularly focused on portraits and reportage: of men and women, but also of companies to enhance any professional project.

I am fascinated by who the people I meet are and what they do, which is why I enjoy telling their stories through images. Thanks to my international experience, I draw inspiration from diversity and naturally develop trusting relationships to create sincere and diverse images.

I am also a specialist in Iran, where I have conducted research and present a photo-conference on youth across France.

What I do:

- Portrait and reportage photography, for individuals, artists, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, or companies. Each photograph is an immersion into a unique story, your story.

- In my work, I prioritize emotion: a smile, a look, and everything that approaches spontaneity.

- Any other photography: product, architecture, travel.
