As part of several confidential assignments, I was asked to conduct technical and organizational audits focusing on:

My intervention combined in-depth analysis of development practices (code review, tools, workflows) and technical evaluation of databases (indexing, typing, configuration, slow queries).

Beyond purely technical aspects, I provided an external perspective on collaboration methods between stakeholders: product management, tech leads, developers. My recommendations helped optimize exchanges, clarify responsibilities, and implement more robust monitoring processes.

Concrete results observed: significant reduction in production incidents, better environment stability, and a team more aligned with product and technical objectives.

AS International initially sought a quality audit: a technical review of the code and work methodologies for a Java EE - Spring - Hibernate project.

The mission began with this code audit, including the creation of a document detailing several areas for improvement: the advantages of using certain technologies and tools, as well as a reminder of best practices for ensuring product quality and performance. This work facilitated initial contact before considering a longer collaboration.

We then discussed the design of a new module to manage human resource assignments for on-site interventions, including travel time forecasts, integration of interveners' Office calendars, expense report management, and invoicing. I proposed technical specifications and a mockup in JSP, KendoUI, jQuery, and Bootstrap (technologies used by the client).

Following the audit, the project was fully migrated to Maven, Git, and Jenkins. Libraries were updated, version conflicts resolved, and some old bugs fixed. The module was then developed iteratively over the following months. By the end of the mission, we were working in short sprints to deploy evolutions and fixes every weekend, involving users and gathering maximum feedback.

This project notably allowed me to deepen my skills in prototyping, TypeScript closures, KendoUI, EWS (Office 365 API), Google Maps, as well as advanced time zone management (America / Europe / China).

This software package was later opened to end customers on the Internet, renamed QBook.io, and then ported to VueJS; a project on which I worked for several years until its functional completion.
