Guillaume Despois

My name is Guillaume, I am 34 years old, I live in Lille and I have been working passionately in IT since 2010.

I obtained a DUT in computer science in Amiens, then a Master's degree in MIAGE in Lille.

I worked for 10 years as a Development Engineer in a software publishing company specializing in e-mailing.

This is where I was able to develop my skills in system administration and software development:

- Installation and management of a server park under Ubuntu at Scaleway and OVH

- Virtualization with Xen

- Configuration of software such as Postfix, Dovecot, Apache2, PHP, MySQL, BorgBackup...

- Writing Bash scripts

- Design and development of PHP/MySQL software

- Design and development of responsive HTML/CSS/Javascript websites

In 2020, I decided to create my micro-enterprise.

Passionate about free software, I advise and help my loved ones to use it: smartphones under Android/LineageOS with F-Droid or reinstallation of their computer under GNU/Linux.

I self-host my emails, websites and other services on my own Debian server.

I am currently looking for system administration or back-end and front-end software development missions.
