Client is Echosens, a French medtech company globally recognized for revolutionizing liver disease diagnosis with non-invasive, rapid, and easy-to-deploy technologies.

Product Owner within two teams for the Echosens software component: middleware and embedded. I am supporting 12 developers, seniors and staff engineers in building a new technological foundation for the coming years. A faster, more accurate, and therefore more effective product. Interfacing with OS, UI, and hardware components as well as innovation labs, I structure Sprints in accordance with the product roadmap.

Challenges

- Build the future of Echosens in terms of hardware, software, and algorithms.

- Frame and pace development to adhere to the product roadmap.

- Work in a Windows environment involving OS, UI, middleware, and embedded (Firmware, FPGA).

Achievements

- Discussions with stakeholders from various backgrounds (HW, SW, System, Cloud, PMO, CTO).

- Facilitation of product meetings and workshops, requirements definition, and backlog maintenance.

- Roadmap definition in line with project constraints, budget, and planned resources.

- Creation of tools for KPI reporting via Jira.

- Writing functional specifications.

For GE HealthCare, a major global player in medical imaging, monitoring, and diagnostic technologies.

The mission involves integrating a next-generation deep learning algorithm (CleaRecon DL) into the group's 3D reconstruction software. Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary SCRUM team to design, develop, and deliver a high-value solution that meets the technical, regulatory, and clinical requirements of the medical sector.

- Organizing workshops and meetings with stakeholders.

- Cross-disciplinary collaboration to understand needs and integrate the new algorithm into existing software systems.

- Development, testing, and deployment of software components.

- Ensuring the reliability and performance of the integrated solution through rigorous testing (unit tests, automated tests, and functional tests).

- Participation in SCRUM ceremonies for team transparency.

- Continuous improvement of development processes and internal best practices.

- Conducting security audits on third-party software used or integrated into existing GE software.

This mission led to two major events: the world premieres of CleaRecon DL integrations in the United States and Europe. This represents a significant technological advancement, setting a new standard for medical 3D image reconstruction.

For Loto-Québec, a North American lottery operator.

The challenge of this experience was to carry out a Proof of Concept (POC) following a tender response to demonstrate our ability to manage equipment in the field.

Interfacing with the sales team, responsible for planning and all technical preparations related to the demonstration held in Montreal.

- Discussions, workshops, meetings with stakeholders.

- Integration of customer customization elements for a Linux system (SQFS, initramfs, systemd).

- Translation of a German HMI to French.

- Creation of software versions used during demonstrations.

- Development of maintenance/equipment management scripts (Python, Bash).

- Remote and local updates of presentation equipment.

- Real-time visualization, through a complete software suite (ELK stack), of the status, metrics, and logs of the various equipment used during presentations.

- Product roadmap construction, version planning using Jira.

- Creation of complete functional documentation.

The success of this POC led to the signing of a contract between the two lottery operators and the sale of 8,000 terminals in Quebec.
