- Polytechnique MontréalResearch ThesisAVIATION AND AEROSPACESeptember 2025 - December 2025 (3 months)Montreal, QC, CanadaAs part of my research project at Polytechnique Montréal, I studied the reduction of vibrations during the submerged machining of thin parts in aeronautics (in cutting fluid or oil). Given the lack of research on this subject, I analyzed the effect of fluid viscosity and density on vibration damping through mathematical modeling of fluid-structure coupling and numerical simulations. This work, demonstrating a potential for improving surface quality, is currently the subject of a scientific article in preparation for publication.
- IES - Institut d'Electronique et des SystèmesEngineering InternRESEARCHJune 2023 - September 2023 (3 months)Montpellier, FranceAs part of my applied internship, I worked on the design of a lab-on-a-chip capable of detecting molecules of biological origin. One of the targeted applications is the detection of contamination by organic matter during experiments conducted in a space environment. When the lab-on-a-chip comes into contact with organic matter, it emits a fluorescence signal under UV excitation. While this principle is already exploited by conventional laboratory equipment, the real challenge of this project lies in the miniaturization and integration of the entire system to make it compatible with space applications.
