About Grégoire

Are you developing a physical product and looking for product design? I can help you go from idea to an industrializable part, optimized for plastic injection – quickly and without surprises.

My goals:
Save weeks on your production launch
Reduce your tooling and assembly costs
Avoid the pitfalls of non-industrializable design
Deliver a clean file, ready for injection

My role:
I am a freelance specialist in the design of injection molded plastic parts (Design for Manufacturing), with 8 years of experience in engineering departments.
I primarily work with hardware SMEs and startups that are developing a product and need an expert to industrialize their design, optimize their costs, and deliver quickly.

My key expertise:

Functional prototype
CAD design for plastic injection (ABS, PP, TPE…)
DFM / DFA optimization (Design for Assembly)
3D modeling (SolidWorks, Fusion, Blender)
Mold support (prototyping → series)
Technical advice: drafts, parting lines, materials, overmolding…

Bonus:
Fast response
100% remote, autonomous
Pedagogical and clear communication
Understanding of real-world constraints (not just pretty design)

Discovery offer
FREE mini-audit of your part or 3D file

  • Delta Plasturgy JP
    CAD Designer
    MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
    October 2021 - Today (4 years and 8 months)
At Delta Plasturgy JP, I participated in the co-development of plastic parts for various clients, ranging from startups and innovative SMEs to major aerospace companies.
My role was to support projects from 3D design to preparation for industrialization.

    Main tasks:

3D Design (CAD) of plastic parts, respecting functional and aesthetic constraints.

DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis: optimization of drafts, parting lines, thicknesses, reinforcements, and demolding surfaces.

Industrialization: preparing files (STEP, 2D drawings, DFM reports) usable by mold makers and technical follow-up until production.

Material selection based on mechanical, thermal, and regulatory constraints.

Collaborative work with clients to ensure technical and economic feasibility from the early stages.

    Examples of projects completed:

Design and industrialization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliant with current standards.

Development of plastic horseshoes, combining resistance, comfort, and innovation, validated in real conditions.

Participation in aeronautical projects, requiring increased rigor and strict adherence to sector quality standards.

This experience allowed me to strengthen my skills in plastics engineering, technical project management, and client relations, while working on very diverse applications ranging from safety (PPE) to sports (horseshoes) and aerospace.

    CAD Designer
    MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
    February 2020 - December 2020 (10 months)
    Ivry-la-Bataille, France
At EFE, a manufacturer of high-precision sensors, I worked on the mechanical design of custom sensors for the aerospace, automotive, and other industrial sectors.

    Main tasks:

Design and micro-design of mechanical parts for sensors.

Detailed drawing creation for manufacturing, inspection, and assembly.

Strict adherence to customer specifications for specific and customized sensors.

Adaptation to the mechanical, thermal, and regulatory constraints specific to critical environments (aerospace, automotive).

Close collaboration with the engineering department and production to ensure technical feasibility.

This experience allowed me to develop expertise in precision, rigor, and custom design, with a high level of technical requirement.

In parallel with my work at EFE, I participated in the design of complete test benches at TEI, intended for the industry.

    Main tasks:

Creation of overall assembly drawings (mechanical and structural).

Development of complete Bills of Materials (BOM).

Design and integration of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

Preparation of technical files for manufacturing and assembly.

Direct collaboration with technical teams to optimize the ergonomics, reliability, and safety of the benches.

This experience provided me with a systemic and multidisciplinary vision, linking mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics within the same industrial project.
