Gorka Lasaosa: Artistic Career and Expansion into Audiovisual Production
Gorka Lasaosa (Barcelona, 1982), an actor with a solid career in film, theater, and especially television. In 2021-2022, he received a scholarship to pursue a Master's in Film Production at ICM, complementing his training as a producer and extending to studies in artificial intelligence and data analysis applied to executive production and the audiovisual industry at BarcelonaFX Film School and in the first master's program of its kind in Spain, offered by ECAM.
In 2014, he founded Intemperie Teatro, a company with which he has produced and directed over ten shows, leading him to open his own theater in 2017. In 2023, he expanded his activity to audiovisual production with Intemperie Producciones, achieving over 20 national and international awards for his short films. His first short film as a director, to date, was selected for the shortlist of the Gaudí Awards and won several festivals qualifying for the Goya and Oscar awards. Currently, the production company develops and finances projects, shorts and features, in various stages and with a special focus on international co-production.
He is co-founder and co-director of the Altafulla International Film Festival, whose first edition will be held in May 2025.
