Software Engineer with a primary focus on Java Backend, but with experience across the full Java technology stack (frontend, backend, DB).

I currently live and work in Rome, but I am open to permanent relocation to Milan or abroad.

Throughout my career I have developed solid server-side expertise working with technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and ORMs like Hibernate/JPA, the most widely used application servers (JBoss, WebSphere), creating and maintaining REST services with Spring MVC, and managing data from the frontend through to persistence on both SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

I also have a basic knowledge of C# and Serverless microservices development on the Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

On the client side, my experience has been primarily in JavaScript, jQuery and JSF development.

This fullstack perspective — even though my primary focus remains the backend — allows me to collaborate effectively with frontend development teams and to understand the complete request lifecycle, from client to database.

In recent times, in addition to expanding my skills in Cloud with a Serverless paradigm (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and DevOps with Docker and Kubernetes, I have been developing an increasingly concrete interest in data engineering and data-driven architectures, based on stream processing technologies such as Apache Kafka and data engineering tools such as Python and Spark.
