Giulia Romei

I am an NLP and GenAI consultant operating at the intersection between language, instructional Design and technology, with a focus on EdTech, Digital Humanities and Natural Language Interfaces. I have experience working with international clients ranging from startups to SMEs and Tier-1 investment banks. My work spans management consulting and technical implementation, including text analysis, translation, interactive storytelling, prompt engineering, text mining and data extraction and modeling. I am also a speaker and tutor in Computational Linguistics for various AI courses at the University of Oxford department for Continuing Education, where I managed an EU funded project for the application of new technologies for learning & development in safety-critical environments in collaboration with the Digital Twins course (vinciresearch.com).

I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and led the AI product roadmap. Previously, as Head of EMEA, I coordinated document automation and translation projects for Tier-1 investment banks, managing a team of 15+ developers and linguistics specialists. I gained hands-on experience with applied linguistics and JavaScript, PHP, and Python for document automation.

Delivered diverse English classes from University students to Kindergarden children and corporate teams.
