Gilbert Ton

Data expert from its inception, I have been working in this field for over 20 years in strategic and operational roles within major banking and insurance groups. I have led numerous Data projects for Marketing, Risk, or Strategy departments, and created or managed Data Mining or Data Science departments.

With a hybrid profile, both strategic (as a business developer) and technical (as an algorithm developer), I support companies, particularly Chief Data Officers, in developing and implementing their Data and Artificial Intelligence strategy, with the goal of: Bringing projects to production.

Co-author of the first book in France on the Chief Data Officer role, where I share the practices, methods, and tools of this profession. (Scheduled for publication in October 2020 by Editions Eyrolles)

In parallel, I also teach at the University of Paris-Saclay (Master 2 – Innovation, Market, and Data Science). This activity allows me to share my passion for Data and to stay constantly updated in the field of academic research.

I hold degrees from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (DEA in Statistics), ESCP Business School (Executive Master Manager Dirigeant), and Ecole Polytechnique Executive Education (Data Science – Big Data Program).
