Gilbert Grenier

Formerly Professor of Agricultural Machinery and Digital Technologies at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, and now retired, I have developed expertise in Agricultural Machinery (particularly in Irrigation and spraying). I participated in ISO standardization work on electronics and IT in agriculture, and I participated in ISOBUS standardization work.

I completed a doctoral thesis in robotics, and I have expertise in this field. I also carried out research work in the Precision Agriculture sector (especially in vision and image processing). I published a book on Precision Agriculture.

I co-created the AgroTIC specialization (jointly offered by Bordeaux Sciences Agro and Montpellier SupAgro), and participated in its development as well as the development of the AgroTIC chair.

I have good expertise regarding Digital Technologies in Agriculture, and I participate in numerous juries on this subject.
