An existing WordPress plugin for displaying live radio information — such as the current song — was not receiving data correctly. I analyzed the connection between the radio platform and the plugin, found where it was going wrong, and fixed it.

After that initial assignment, smaller extensions and adjustments followed upon request. This has led to an ongoing maintenance contract where I keep the site technically up-to-date and can quickly respond to problems.

Joomla migrations are not ordinary updates. Between Joomla 3 and the current versions, the underlying structures have changed significantly — extensions that worked for years suddenly stop working, and custom work that was once built requires a complete revision.

For about seven websites, I guided the entire migration process: from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5, and now also from Joomla 5 to Joomla 6. Each time, it starts with a thorough analysis of the existing site — which extensions are still compatible, what needs to be replaced, where is custom work that must be preserved?

After the analysis comes the migration itself: database adjustments, template conversion, replacing or rewriting extensions where necessary, and thorough testing before delivery.

No two migrations are the same. Every site has its own history, and this approach requires experience with what can go wrong.

Since 2008, I have been working as a freelance web developer, specializing in Joomla and WordPress. I help organizations and companies with two things: keeping their website technically sound, and guiding more complex projects such as migrations or custom development.

For Joomla, I perform migrations from older versions (J3, J5) to the current version — processes that require more than a standard update. For WordPress, I solve technical problems, build custom functionality, and take over maintenance.

I work without page builders. Every solution is deliberately built: clean code, fast loading times, no unnecessary plugins.

Besides client work, I develop my own Joomla extensions, including TableMaker and TT Stand.
