About Gidéon

I am passionate about products, processes, innovation, and technology. For 8 years, I have managed projects across different phases of the product and process life cycle: research and development, industrialization, and production.
In my previous role as a production engineer at Toppan Photomasks, I was responsible for the smooth operation of the cleaning process, daily production problem-solving, and analyzing production data to monitor equipment and production performance. I also managed three continuous process improvement projects (reducing defects, non-conformities, and customer complaints, reducing performance variability) while adhering to cost, safety, quality, and efficiency constraints. By utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, statistical process control, and collaborating with teams in Shanghai and Dresden, I successfully increased and stabilized the process yield from 87% to 92%.
During my three-year PhD, I successfully developed a chemical process for recycling composite materials, from laboratory to industrial pilot scale, through extensive literature research and the use of design of experiments. As a research engineer at AGC Glass Europe, I was also responsible for the development and improvement of products requiring surface treatment or chemical deposition. I led two projects and participated in three others, one of which involved industrialization tests. Collaboration with marketing to identify customer needs, identifying and managing good suppliers, technological watch, using design of experiments for testing, and rapid prototyping allowed me to succeed in these missions.
