With the client Amadeus IT Group, I supported the Payment division on a move2Cloud project to migrate the on-premise infrastructure, legacy services, and payment business applications to Microsoft Azure.

Throughout the migration roadmap and on each development, staging, and production environment, I contributed to three phases of intervention.

First phase: a preparatory phase prior to migration, conducted according to the Cloud Framework Adoption recommendations and consisting of three macro objectives: 1) Mapping of infrastructure components, including computing, storage, network, databases, logging, and any other middleware brick, and aligning the existing architecture with Microsoft Azure's architectural specifics. 2) Modernization of the legacy deployment pipeline from a traditional model based on an Ansible deployment playbook triggered via Jenkins to a pull-based approach: installation and configuration of the ArgoCD operator within Red Hat OpenShift Platform 3 clusters. 3) Setup of hosting environments within the Cloud infrastructure using an Infrastructure as a Code and GitOps approach via Terraform and the AzureRM plugin.

Second phase: Execution of software activation procedures to redirect all incoming client internet traffic in the Amadeus SI to the new Cloud instances, with zero or near-zero service downtime agreed upon in consultation with the division's management and according to the criticality level of the applications concerned.

Third phase: Maintenance in operational condition of applications and business services, verification and validation (V&V) of the integrity of services, databases, and connectivity to ensure correct handling of migrated workloads, analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of any infrastructure and software errors occurring during the migration.

Two missions:

With Alstom in Lyon, I contributed to the development of the Onboard Management System (OMS), an onboard train server for collecting, analyzing, and transmitting real-time data from various train equipment for predictive and preventive rail maintenance.

With Procter&Gamble in Brussels, I participated in the integration, installation, and commissioning phases of a Warehouse Management System/Warehouse Control System (WMS/WCS) within a P&G production warehouse.
