Built a 19-year technical leadership foundation at SAP across cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes, enterprise integration, developer experience, research, product delivery, QA automation, and team leadership.

Contributed to SAP Cloud Platform’s Kubernetes foundation through Gardener, the open-source “Kubernetes Clusters as a Service” technology used to operate managed clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and private cloud environments. Worked on integrating SAP managed services into Gardener-managed clusters, supporting SAP’s multi-cloud platform strategy and a Kubernetes service foundation that successfully supported 4,000+ clusters with up to 2 on-call engineers.

Earlier, helped drive SAP’s cloud extensibility and integration strategy through Hana Cloud Platform, enabling major SAP line-of-business solutions — including Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, C4C, and Fieldglass — to extend and integrate through common platform capabilities. Covered provisioning, connectivity, data replication, persistence, security, orchestration, and customer-facing proof-of-concept work for major opportunities.

Led teams and initiatives across SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal, Knowledge Management, Collaboration, QA automation, engineering education, and platform innovation. Led a 7-person development team, managed local and international QA teams, and created quality and automation strategies that reduced maintenance load and improved delivery confidence.

Worked across 2 major EU FP7 research programs, SAP internal innovation projects, cloud technologies, operations, dynamic systems, WYSIWYG/web tooling, semantic technologies, and platform architecture. Earlier, supported SAP Labs Bulgaria’s rapid growth by creating Java/J2EE training programs and personally training 70%+ of the personnel forming the company headcount at the time.
