Doctor of Information and Communication Sciences, I am interested in digital writing, particularly interactive narratives, and the analysis and development of tools that help shape this field.

For 7 years, I had the opportunity to work on and sometimes lead research projects around a particular form of digital writing: data visualization.

In 2017, I left the public sector to join the private sector and joined ensembl.fr as a developer, where I mainly worked in the backend and deepened my technical skills. I then specialized in data at Socloz before becoming CTO of La Fourche and then launching myself as a freelancer in 2020.

Since then, I have carried out several missions in various roles, full-stack developer in Symfony / React for Wishibam, Tech Lead for Bouygues Telecom mainly in Node and React where I had the pleasure of collaborating with Samsung on BT's open APIs, and as a Node/Typescript backend developer with Rakuten.

- Work on APIs about which I cannot say much for confidentiality reasons, revolving around Rest, API architecture, Oauth2, etc., with a significant DevOps part via AWS and the creation of Cloudformation stacks with
Amazon Sceptre (an AWS equivalent of Terraform) and always docker-compose.
- Another data extraction task with Python and Django, again with a Cloudformation stack, and local docker-compose.

Refactoring of the MC2 documentary database

This mission, supervised by cinema professor Marguerite Chabrole, consists of technically refactoring a documentary database.

The refactoring includes:
- Gathering requirements and specifying interfaces via Figma
- Creating a new, more suitable data model
- Migrating data from the old model and MySQL to a new model and PSQL: an importer created in Symfony 5 was used to automate migrations
- Refactoring the website's backend into a REST & GraphQL API using Symfony and Api Platform
- Adding a multi-index search engine with Algolia
- Adding ES indexes and a dedicated Kibana for researchers
- Creating a Full JS App with Gatsby including data visualizations and highlighting researchers' work
- Migrating and hosting the site on the Cloud with AWS
- Creating an admin interface with Svelte.js
