Gaël Baron

Responsible for two Kotlin Android applications and a NextJS website, my mission is to ensure application maintainability, develop new features, and manage publications and deployments.

I participate in UX/UI choices based on user feedback and company objectives, optimize the website's SEO and responsiveness, configure Gradle builds to ensure maintainability, optimization, and availability of applications on as many devices as possible, etc...

I have been able to re-architect these applications following the MVVM logic and implement unit tests using Espresso.

Regarding the backend, I have developed in NodeJS/ExpressJS, corrected some PostgreSQL routes or queries, made modifications to Docker configurations, managed deployments, and set up the various production and pre-production VPS.

Furthermore, to enable stable progress and clarity regarding objectives, I pushed for the implementation of Agile Kanban development and task ticketing, as well as the setup of daily meetings, weekly reviews, and pair programming sessions to support the skill development of the developers.

Remote internship as a fullstack Angular, AngularJS, Python, MongoDB developer on the ANEF program. Participating in the migration of an AngularJS frontend to Angular, I was able to develop new features and work on existing functionalities. Here, I discovered the different development processes of large administrations (Agile SCRUM method, advantages of GitHub CI/CD, unit tests, production, and pre-production).
