During my time at CIMAT, I developed several projects focused on the analysis, processing, and modeling of data in highly complex environments.

In the area of geospatial data analysis, I worked with databases of violence events in Mexico, performing cleaning, normalization, and merging of information from multiple sources. I implemented spatiotemporal series analysis to study patterns and trends, as well as building graphs of relationships between involved actors, using Python, pandas, networkx, and folium for processing and interactive visualization. I also explored connectivity metrics and predictive models to estimate future risks.

In the field of data science applied to neuroimaging, I developed a study on the importance of the position of seeds in brain tractographies, working with magnetic resonance data in .nii format. I used tools such as MRtrix3 and ITK-SNAP for segmentation and fiber reconstruction, generating connectivity matrices and comparing results using statistical metrics and visualizations with matplotlib and pandas.

In the area of optimization and algorithms, I implemented models based on genetic algorithms, CMA-ES, and simulated annealing to solve complex problems, adjusting parameters and evaluating performance with custom metrics.

In addition, I worked with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models, applying class balancing techniques such as SMOTE, metrics such as AUC, KS, precision, recall, and F1-score, and regularization approaches to avoid overfitting.

This experience allowed me to acquire solid skills in data processing, pipeline engineering, statistical analysis, advanced visualization, and predictive modeling, as well as develop a critical ability to interpret metrics and adapt solutions to real problems.

As IT Specialist B and head of the IT department at the Estrella 2 Hotel Complex, I led the comprehensive management of the technological area, ensuring the continuous operation of the hotel's systems and digital infrastructure. I supervised and maintained LAN/WAN networks, servers, and workstations, as well as implemented solutions for the automation and digitization of administrative processes. I also established and applied IT security policies, including firewalls, antivirus, automatic backups, and failure recovery plans. I managed suppliers, acquisitions, and maintenance contracts, optimizing the area's budget to ensure efficient and reliable technological service.
