Graphic designer for Le Balcon: orchestra http://www.lebalcon.com/ Le Balcon, founded in November 2008, is a variable geometry amplified orchestra. It brings together numerous solo singers, about thirty instrumentalists, composers, sound engineers, and collaborates on projects with videographers, directors, and choreographers. Le Balcon creates performances that navigate between contemporary music, classical repertoire, and the most groundbreaking experiences of current music. It thus defines a musical action that abolishes the boundaries between the audience and the performers. The orchestra is amplified, in line with our vision of musical performance as a striking and radical experience for listeners. This notion of total performance comes from the natural integration for our generation of loudspeakers, cinema, but also from the operas of Wagner and Stockhausen. -- The artistic committee of Le Balcon meets around its musical director Maxime Pascal, its sound engineer Florent Derex, composers Juan-Pablo Carreño and Pedro Garcia-Velasquez, and pianist and vocal coach Alphonse Cemin.
