- L'OréalSenior Product DesignerFASHION AND COSMETICSDecember 2023 - September 2025 (1 year and 9 months)Paris, FranceIn my role as Principal Designer for the 'Formula' scope, I am responsible for the creation and improvement of digital tools and services used in our laboratories, both in France and internationally.ResponsibilitiesI participated in establishing a strategic partnership to transform laboratory formulation. This project allows formulators to predict essential data (performance, stability, etc.) without laboratory testing.I design AI-powered solutions, which leads me to explore innovative interactions and create functional prototypes based on real data, while aligning design with business objectives.I conducted over 30 user interviews, both in France and internationally, to understand their expectations and concerns.I also developed a repository containing over 1200 facts and 300 insights. My work includes close collaboration with product and technical teams to prioritize features and establish the roadmap.I perform rapid prototyping to test solutions with users.Creation of a Gen-AI chatbotI developed a chatbot based on GPT-4 and other models to help formulators quickly define starting points for their formulas.I designed the tool's interface and participated in launching a pilot project in several laboratories.I organized user testing sessions to identify friction points and propose improvements.I also conducted technical research on AI to demystify the tool and make it more accessible.Promotion of design methodsI actively participate in disseminating best practices and establishing rituals within the design team, thus contributing to strengthening our culture of innovation.
- BiogenSenior Product Designer UX/UIPHARMACEUTICALS INDUSTRYNovember 2023 - December 2023 (1 month)Paris, FranceContextBiogen offers patients with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) an effective but very demanding treatment. A competitor in the Japanese market introduced a lighter treatment, but less effective in the long term. Biogen was therefore looking for a solution to promote the effectiveness of its treatment and allow patients to make their voices heard by their neurologist: create a mobile application to track the progression of the disease.MissionThe timing was very important for Biogen, and we managed to design, develop, and launch the pilot in the Japanese market in less than 3 months.1. I conducted quick research to understand the disease and its symptoms: internet research, scientific reports, discussion with a Japanese neurologist specializing in the subject.2. Concept creation: patients answer a series of questions once a month and rate their answers on a scale from -5 to +5. Example: I can use my smartphone without difficulty.3. Interactive prototyping of the application on Figma to validate the concept.4. Close collaboration with frontend and backend developers. The application was functional in 3 sprints of 2 weeks.ToolsFigma, Miro, ChatGPT, Claude
- ValeoSenior UX Designer at CarLab (Innovation Lab)AUTOMOBILEMay 2022 - September 2023 (1 year and 4 months)Paris, FranceSenior Innovation Designer at Valeo's CarLab: a team and a place designed around the principles of Design Thinking and new working methodologies, which the team relies on to meet the challenges of tomorrow's mobility.Responsibilities:1. Planning and facilitation of a Design Sprint with over 20 participants from different countries over 5 days focused on artificial intelligence in vehicles. The sprint resulted in the concept of an intelligent co-pilot that monitors the driver's condition and can offer advice or even take over driving depending on the situation.◦ I participated in the creation of hardware/software prototypes that were tested with drivers in the CarLab's driving simulator.2. Planning and facilitation of a Design Sprint with over 20 participants from different countries over 5 days focused on the use of data captured by vehicles (radar, lidar, camera). Creation of activities and various materials. The Design Sprint notably gave birth to the concept of 'Valeo Racer', a fun augmented reality experience integrated into vehicles.◦ I developed the concept and created a playable prototype with Unity in less than 15 days, which I then tested with users.◦ Following positive feedback, I iterated on the concept in close collaboration with the San Francisco technical team and participated in drafting technical patents.◦ A first version was presented to the public at South by Southwest 2024.3. I supervised numerous field and laboratory research and user testing sessions: ethnographic studies, focus groups, brainstorming and co-design sessions to identify opportunities for Valeo's technologies. I thus reconciled a 'technology-push' approach with market reality and customer expectations.
