François Bougard

After 15 years of driving innovation, first in an SME, then in a large group, I have supported the development of dozens of formulations – detergents, disinfectants, technical products, as well as food products or functional ingredients. My role went far beyond the laboratory: industrialization, project management, regulatory monitoring, product strategy… I was at the heart of innovation, at the interface between science, field, and business.

Today, as a freelancer, I support start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs, and project leaders in missions that combine chemistry, agribusiness, food, biotech, and R&D digitalization:

- Custom development and formulation, with integration of AI and advanced tools to optimize formulations and accelerate R&D

- Creation of specific applications for R&D and production: formulation tracking, protocol automation, interactive dashboards

- Industrialization and digitalization of processes

- Scientific writing, popularization, and structuring of funding applications

- Product strategy, communication, and business development

- Training and coaching of teams on formulation, AI applied to R&D, and digital tools

With a PhD in Chemistry, I combine solid R&D experience with a genuine passion for knowledge sharing. I can design a product, digitalize a process, develop custom applications for R&D and production, train teams, or structure a project to secure funding.

My mission: to help innovations transition from lab to reality by bringing methodology, rigor, strategic vision, and advanced digital/AI technologies, regardless of the sector: chemistry, agro, food, pharma, biotech.
