Francisco Diego Rabelo Da Ponte

👋 Hi there! My name is Diego Rabelo-da-Ponte.

🎓 I earned my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences in 2018 and 2022, respectively.

🏆 In 2019, I received the Samuel Gershon Award for Junior Investigators organized by the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD). In 2020, I won the International Travel Fellowship Award from the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). Both awards were a recognition of my work on bipolar disorder and the use of machine learning techniques.

👨‍🎓 I have a deep appreciation for cutting-edge approaches applied to mental health, which is why I was a visiting Ph.D. student (University of Central Lancashire - UK), investigating the role of muscle on neurodevelopmental disorders using multi-Omics data funded by the ERASMUS+. Additionally, I have worked as a data analyst for three years.

💻 I work as a Data Analyst (Postdoctoral Research) at King's College London by analysing biological and psychological data from longitudinal studies.
