Experience

  • VETUP
    .Net C# Developer
    SOFTWARE PUBLISHING
    April 2024 - Today (2 years and 4 months)
    Marseille, France
Vetup is a PMS (Practice Management Software) editor that was acquired by IVC Evidensia. IVC Evidensia operates veterinary clinics and practices in 19 European countries, with a total of approximately 2,300 facilities and 28,000 employees.

I joined the "Scale" team, whose goal is to add features to the existing application on one hand, and also to migrate business domains to more recent technologies (C#) on the other. The aim of this migration is to resolve the application's performance issues following the increase in clinics (linked to the IVC acquisition).
    My team consisted of:
    o 1 Technical Lead
    o 1 Product Owner
    o 2 PHP Developers
    o 1 C# Developer
    o 1 Tester

As a C# developer, my responsibilities included:
o Conducting Proof of Concepts to address technical questions on various subjects (Authentication with AWS / Azure, Blazor / React graphical component libraries, Log management in microservices),
o Creation of the first .Net microservices
o Work on migrating the PHP application to React
o Development and maintenance of an animal food management application

Technical context: .Net 8.0, C#, ASP.NET, React, Blazor, Angular, Telerik, Ant Design, Tailwind, Clean Architecture, MySQL, Sql Server, JIRA, AWS, Azure, Docker, Dev Container, GitHub.
    C# .NET React.js Angular 16 AWS
  • SNEF
    .Net Architect
    INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
    March 2023 - Today (3 years and 5 months)
    Aix-en-Provence, France
I worked for SNEF on a public contract for the Port of Calais. The port is a strategic player in cross-Channel traffic and one of Europe's largest passenger ports. Each year, approximately 10 million passengers, 44 million tons of goods, and 2 million heavy goods vehicles use the port facilities on the Calais/Dover ferry line.

I joined the project team dedicated to modernizing the Port of Calais's infrastructure. The goal was to develop a hypervisor to provide real-time visibility on road traffic.

The team consisted of 5 people:
    o 3 developers
    o 1 project manager
    o 1 architect (myself)

As a .NET software architect, my responsibilities included:
o Writing the technical architecture document
o Supervising the development team (4 developers)
o Designing and developing specific services for the Port of Calais
o Implementing real-time indicators to facilitate operational decision-making
o Integrating the Connexity solution (interpreting data streams from hardware devices)
Thanks to this software, the port was able to:
o Have key indicators for managing their traffic
o Optimize traffic and port personnel management
o Historize data over several years to track improvements

.NET 6.0, C#, VueJS 3, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mosquitto (MQTT), Docker, Azure DevOps, microservices architecture, CI/CD, real-time supervision, hardware interfacing.
    C# ASP.NET Core Vue.js PostgreSQL Docker
  • BPCE Infogérance & Technologies
    .Net C# Developer
    BANKING AND INSURANCE
    October 2022 - July 2023 (10 months)
    Aix-en-Provence, France
BPCE-IT is the technology subsidiary of the BPCE group, the 2nd largest banking group in France. It manages IT infrastructure and business solutions for over 120,000 employees in banks such as Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Épargne.

As part of the modernization of internal tools, I was tasked with creating an intranet for managing PowerShell scripts for the "Workstation" team, responsible for large-scale user workstation configuration (VPN setup, Windows restrictions, patch installation, etc.).
This new tool, named TaskIT, prevents the deployment of potentially buggy scripts that could block the workstations of BPCE's 120,000 employees.

As a C# / .NET developer, I was responsible for the entire application lifecycle:

o Gathering requirements from business users
o Weekly progress presentations to the client
o Complete development of the TaskIT tool (back-end + front-end)
o Implementation of modification history and traceability
o Writing and executing unit, integration, and functional tests
Thanks to the tool, we were able to:
o Drastically reduce deployment errors in production
o Gain traceability on modifications made to workstations
o Ensure rapid adoption of the tool by teams through training and a clear HMI

    Technical context
.NET 6.0, C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, MudBlazor, SQL Server, Azure DevOps
