Florent Willemin

I began my journey with a DUT in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing, before joining UTBM (University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard), where I specialized in embedded systems. In 2019, I joined Thales LAS France for my end-of-studies internship, followed by an employment offer. Within a team of 30 developers, I contributed to the development of the new generation military radar SF500. Very quickly, I took on the role of Scrum Master and Tech Lead.

On this project, I worked in Ada, developing operational features and test sheets. I also participated in the continuous improvement of the team's organization and strategy, while performing on-site integrations for clients.

In 2022, I moved into a software architect position for Ground Master radars, where I designed solutions for complex problems. I notably worked in Java with a real-time overlay and performed a port to a hardened version of an operating system.

In my role as a software architect, I was called upon to contribute to the development of new technologies by joining the Research and Development department, where I supervised several technical projects. I notably defined a solution to optimize our code generator, integrating it with our middleware. This solution combined technologies such as Kafka and Memcached, all within a microservices-based architecture.
