About Florent

Experienced leader in emerging data practices. I have spent the last 8 years building data-centric products for large companies. My two lives - one as a consultant, the other as a data scientist - now help me coordinate C-level business owners with development teams to build the RIGHT product.

How can I help you?
  • Business products embedding data-driven capabilities (DS, Machine learning & AI)
  • Data platforms (Data lake/Data warehouse) and their exploitation
  • Data governance products and practices (MDM, Data catalog...)
The 4 convictions that guide my daily life as PM or PO:
  • Popularization -> A relevant product requires business buy-in. Business buy-in requires understanding the product, however dry it may be.
  • Co-construction -> Development teams are not echo chambers. A good product is built collaboratively.
  • Quality -> We do not develop features that we cannot test.

  • Delivery -> Go-live is always priority #1. Nothing stays in the box.

    • Exposure of a horse racing repository providing details on the careers of horses and industry professionals.

    Role

During the mission, as the product scope grew, I held two roles:

    • Product Owner: Feature design, coordination with the development team, guarantor of quality and delivery.
    • Product Manager: Coordination with business owners and other SAFe teams, product roadmap construction, change management with clients.
