Florence Montfort

Artisan of the ephemeral in the heart of Brussels folklore, I create set design elements as well as custom headwear and accessories to decorate the niche and dress the statue of Jeanneke-Pis during festive or cultural events. A fascinating creative job, often in service of committed projects in collaboration with NGOs with various causes.

I participated in the creation of custom props for various costumes and contributed to the overall management of the wardrobe during the Halloween period.

I took part in the organization, tracking of pieces and props, as well as their circulation, from handover to actors to reception and costume inspection.

I also carried out minor repairs and adjustments necessary for the comfort and use of the costumes, as well as cleaning and care for full-face masks, to ensure their good condition and proper use throughout the production.

As art director, my role on this project was to materialize Élodie's spirit. Through a meticulous accumulation of objects – canvases, brushes, maps, candlesticks, flowers, ... – I transformed a simple room into a psychological “Wonderland.” Each element became a visual reflection of her inner world.
