Fernando Da Silva

I began my professional career right after Lycée Corvisart by joining the OGP studio as an executor. In 1985, I joined the Imperial Falcon Club studio where I was responsible for creating and executing the layout for ZEINA, a luxury women's magazine published in Arabic for the United Arab Emirates. This unusual experience also allowed me to create my first illustrations. By joining the Agence SURFACE in 1986, I became assistant to the artistic director and refined my creativity by producing communication material layouts for the agency's clients, as well as various illustrations for them. In 1988, a new experience with the studio CEUX-QUI, where for 1 year, I designed and drew the signage for Parc ASTERIX. Then in 1989, I arrived at RSCG Sopha as a layout artist. The management quickly offered me the position of roughman illustrator, a role I held for 4 years. In 1993, I co-created the ARC & SYNTHESE studio, where I was naturally responsible for roughs and illustrations. Since 1998, building on all these experiences, I have pursued a career as a freelance graphic designer illustrator. In 2021, in addition to my freelance work, I embarked on a new adventure by leading an illustration course at ESDAC Lille, an art school that opened the doors to teaching for me... to be continued...
