Fernanda Frick

Hi!

I’m Fernanda, an animation director, illustrator, graphic novelist, and mental health coach.

I’ve spent over a decade creating emotionally resonant stories across film, publishing, and digital media. I’ve directed an award-winning animated short, worked as an art director on high-profile international campaigns, and directed commercial projects for local agencies.

I specialize in character design, visual development, illustration, and 2D character animation. My background as a CG character animator and director allows me to lead multidisciplinary teams across CG, 2D, and stop-motion. I’ve guided projects from concept and ideation through scripting, production, and final delivery.

My favorite part of the process is early ideation. I love brainstorming through sketches and collaborating closely with clients to clarify their vision and message.

Fun fact: I’m also a certified mental health coach supporting creatives through ADHD, burnout, and project overwhelm. My coaching blends emotional intelligence, productivity strategies, and creative-process support, informed by my work with Healthy Gamer GG and my own experience as an artist.

Whether I’m developing original IP, tackling commercial briefs, illustrating picture books, or supporting clients in their creative journey, my focus is always on authenticity, clarity, and helping others bring their ideas to life.
