• Calculate volumes and transfer prices for internally purchased ethanol.
• Request accounting to make provisions in SAP to correct our BU accounting regarding BU and third-party purchases/sales, freight costs, general and administrative expenses (SG&A), settled paper positions, BU/external disbursements, etc.
• Pay BUs based on market floating price settlements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Collaborate with auditors for the fiscal year-end audit or quarterly audit to publish our BU results and balance sheet (Big Four audit firm).
• Approve payments under 100,000 euros.
• Perform, approve, and track urgent payments, especially when payment terms are tight or transactions are financed by a commodity trading bank (e.g., a ship may be held at quay, incurring demurrage penalties).
• Manage the treasury of our USD bank account (request foreign exchange operations in case of account liquidity needs).
