Director of Drones (Unmanned Systems) Program at the French National Aerospace Research Center (ONERA).

Holder of a doctorate in fluid mechanics from Aix Marseille University, my areas of expertise range from flight mechanics and control applied to systems and operations for all types of VTOL aircraft (Helicopters, eVTOL hybrid aircraft, drones of all sizes), to supporting regulatory and certification evolutions for new aircraft. ONERA is a bridge between the academic and industrial worlds, guaranteeing state expertise in ASD (Aeronautics, Space, and Defense) fields.

As such, I actively contribute to promoting solutions from industry and academia, as well as to regulatory and certification evolutions, particularly those from EASA.

Furthermore, I represent ONERA within various entities related to drones: Steering Committee/Technical Committee of the Systematic Drone Hub, Member of the SAFE cluster and expert on drone and VTOL aeronautics projects for labeling committees, member of the COPIL Drone4Sec, invited member of ADIF (French Drone Industry Association), member of the CDC (Civil Drones Council), auditor member of EUROCAE WG 112 & 113, EREA (Association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics) substitute for the "informal Commission Expert Group on Drones" with the commission, member of the 3AF drone technical commission, and president of the Drone Strategic Orientation Committee of the Aerospace Valley cluster in Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, where I represent ONERA.

On a technical level, I have nearly 25 years of experience in flight mechanics and control, systems, and operations for VTOLs and drones in all environments, their payloads, and their applications for civil and military domains.
