I come from Penafiel, a small city in the north of Portugal. Growing up there taught me something that still defines the way I work today: stay humble, work hard, and never be afraid of a challenge.

I started my career in R&D, building solutions in C# and C, focused on precision, performance, and problem-solving. Over time, my curiosity pushed me beyond software development into ETL processes, database development, dashboards, cloud platforms, and large-scale data engineering architectures. Today, I work as a Senior Data Engineer, building reliable data platforms, scalable pipelines, and business intelligence solutions that help companies transform raw data into real decisions.

Along the way, I lived experiences that changed my perspective completely: doing Erasmus in Bucharest, working in London, collaborating with international teams, and constantly adapting to new environments and challenges. Those experiences taught me that great engineering is not only about technology — it’s about communication, ownership, resilience, and delivering under pressure.

What defines me most is simple:

I’m the kind of person who keeps learning, keeps improving, and keeps pushing until the solution is right. Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, music, and travel — things that keep me creative, disciplined, and open-minded.
