• Preparation of documents related to the budget, the annual program and budget, its revision and update, drafting of relevant tables, charts and data.

• Internal monitoring reports and analysis of the staff structure funded by the core budget.

• Technical budget support to facilitate compliance of administrative activities funded by the core budget with IOM rules, regulations, policies and strategies, and implementation of all relevant internal standard operating procedures.

• Coordination of budget requests, contract extensions, vacancy announcements, purchase requests, payment requests/vouchers and travel authorizations.

• Assistance in the preparation of staff costs for budgeting purposes and in the review and monitoring of budget allocations and expenditures.

• Planning, conducting and managing operational, financial and compliance internal control reviews

• Risk assessment, process mapping and internal control evaluation for all business operational processes

• Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes and internal control systems

• Performing and administering SOX 404 audits to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting

• Assisting business partners in various projects

• Managing the audit engagement, coaching auditors and preparing staff evaluations

• Preparing reports including findings and recommendations for senior management, and following up on actions to be implemented

• Determining the consistency of the operation with organizational objectives and standards through various audit procedures and methods

• Managing an audit on corporate charitable contributions, visiting NGO offices and projects in Russia
