PROJECT
Took over the search solution on the StockPro marketplace with a new index model and an optimized lexical search configuration. We were able to demonstrate a clear improvement in the accuracy of results and the ability to find the right products, benefiting the visibility of all products in the catalog. The mission also allowed for the definition of a roadmap to sustainably evolve the search strategy.MAIN CHALLENGES
- Qualify search issues to identify and address high-value "quick wins" prioritized
- Improve the quality and accuracy of search results (matching, ranking)
- Reduce the rate of unsuccessful searches and improve user experience, based on real cases and with an iterative method

- Present results and demonstrate in a restitution defense
- Coordinate with the Front-end team to integrate the POC into the site's Ruby developments
- Document the implemented configurations and write the recommendation report
