My primary ambition as a painter is to capture and translate an emotion, a fragment of life, a story. Most of my creations are made with acrylic paint on canvas. Unlike classical portraiture, caricature allows me greater freedom of execution by allowing me to bring my originality to it. Through my vision, we rediscover a familiar personality, yet one that is not quite the same. My goal is to revisit the expression of a face to capture its deep essence. I focus on exaggerating the main physical features that characterize the model (caricature requires it), without falling into excess, a matter of dosage and balance. According to my personal approach, attention to detail is carefully considered, with the objective of creating an artistic work that is both unique and alive, true to the subject represented and to what emanates from it. Thus, I attach particular importance to the gaze, the window to the soul, as the saying goes. It is in no way my intention to belittle, offend, or hurt. All my works are merely tributes. I paint with my heart to touch the hearts of others.
