Procurement Management

- analyze and process purchase requests from the CBN via the ERP or those issued by chemical department prescribers.

- initiate and monitor the proper execution of procurement orders in the company's production software until they are available.

- establish an annual procurement and order schedule (volume of parts purchased and delivery frequency) and control/revise the procurement program (low stock analysis, safety stock, etc., in conjunction with production).

- liaise with the warehouse for deliveries and supplier returns.

Supplier Relations

- ensure that orders are produced and contractual delivery times are met.

- handle first-level disputes and claims with carriers and/or suppliers in coordination with the Chemical Buyer. (Product non-conformity, non-compliance with contractual delivery terms).

- handle supplier invoice discrepancies and check invoices for forwarding to the supplier accounting department. In case of dispute, the Chemical Purchasing Officer contacts the Chemical Buyer for intervention.

Procurement Reporting

- monitor stock levels and delivery times (supplier shortages) and is responsible for the availability of purchased materials and products.

Within a team of 4 people, under the responsibility of the procurement manager and in close collaboration with the site's planning/scheduling department and the purchasing department:

- ensure the supply of raw materials and components to make the production plan achievable by issuing purchase plans and orders to suppliers and entering confirmations.

- manage priorities with suppliers (negotiate delivery times and ensure they are met) and provide reporting to support decision-making processes.

- ensure target stock levels by optimizing flows, delivery conditions, and maintaining procurement parameters in the ERP.

- analyze malfunctions and propose solutions.
