Role: Networks & Security Engineer

Company Context: The company uses UBIKA devices, which are Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) solutions, often deployed as Reverse Proxies or Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), to secure and potentially accelerate access to its web applications and APIs, and Palo Alto and Fortigate firewalls for network protection.

Project: Migration of URLs to new UBIKA devices

Objectives:

- Migrate all web application and API flows to the new UBIKA devices without service interruption for users.

- Ensure the proper functioning of all applications after migration (non-regression testing).

Responsible for the management, configuration, and deployment of network switches and Wi-Fi access points, opening flows on FortiManager, creating URLs, setting up exceptions, and managing false positives on Ubika, creating public DNS on OVH, supervision via Service NAV, creating DHCP pools on Efficient IP, managing virtual machines (Wi-Fi controller). For log traceability, I used FortiAnalyzer, F5 for creating VIPs, pools, and nodes.

Role: Networks and Security Engineer (N2/N3)

Company Context: Territorial Collectivity (Department of Loire-Atlantique) – Management of critical IT infrastructure for departmental services.

Project: Operational Maintenance (MCO/RUN) of Network, Security, and System Infrastructures, and securing the IS.

Objectives: Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical infrastructures (LAN/WAN network, firewalls, servers). Reduce incident resolution time (MTTR) and ensure compliance with security policies by applying patches.
