Hello,

My name is Etienne and I am based in Lyon. My passion and my job is SOUND.

With several years of experience in cinema and over thirty films to my credit, I am ready to collaborate on new projects: Feature films and short films, fiction and documentaries, animated films, commercials, videos for social networks, music, original soundtracks, podcasts, radio, interviews, notification or alarm design, battery-operated toy sounds, etc.

In pre-production, we can establish the needs of your projects together and carry out sound research according to your creative intentions. I am also able to intervene on your shoots as a sound engineer or boom operator. And finally, in post-production, I offer my services in sound editing, Foley, and mixing.

I have been playing piano and sound synthesis since my teenage years. By developing my ear, I also developed my interest in cinema and other audiovisual forms. I obtained a BTS which allowed me to have solid technical foundations and then I had the chance to join the first class of ENS La Cinéfabrique when it was created. Today, I constantly try to progress towards sound design and other relevant ways to create unique sounds for each project. To do this, I often record my own sounds: in the studio, in the mountains, underwater, in the city, with the army, in the forest, and other variations depending on the weather or the time of day.

On the technical side, I am currently working on Windows in stereo with Pro Tools and/or Reaper. I am gradually learning the Wwise software and sound integration in video games. I am also learning the Lua programming language in the context of advanced sound synthesis.
