Design and creation of an Android app for managing third-party access rights to the user's selected private data in accordance with GDPR. Design and creation of a backend with REST API for accessing this rights management. The REST API can be used by any REST client, such as mobile apps (iOS, Android) or web apps.

Android Architect (Automotive) for SCANIA Germany. Concept and creation of a native Android tablet app for damage recording when renting vehicles, which embeds an existing web app and extends it with native functionalities (camera, image editor). Connection to an existing backend via REST API.

Android/Backend Architect and Lead Developer for a medium-sized company that develops and sells engine tuning modules. The tuning modules can be controlled using newly developed smartphone apps via Bluetooth Classic & Low Energy. There are various hardware variants, each controlled by its own app. All these apps are generated from a common source code base, thus keeping maintenance effort low. Each app communicates via REST API with a central backend to send tuning module data or to load new configurations and firmware. I was responsible for the design/implementation of the Android app and backend, as well as for coordinating the iOS development.
