In my previous employment, I gained 24 years of experience (until November 2022) in editing texts. The authors of the texts were exclusively academics. Nevertheless, there was considerable need for optimization, as my then employer placed the highest value on the quality of the texts. They were not allowed to contain any linguistic errors.
