With more than 20 years’ experience as CRO and Head of Risk in regulated financial services environments, I provide senior second‑line leadership, board‑ready risk opinions and pragmatic governance frameworks that stand up to regulatory scrutiny.
Typical assignments include taking ownership of fragmented ERM and ORSA processes across multi‑entity organisations, redesigning planning cycles, developing stress and scenario frameworks, and delivering proportionate, audit‑ready board risk opinions. I also design risk appetite frameworks from the ground up, including KRIs, escalation routes and board reporting, embedded within a coherent governance model.
My work spans interim Risk Management Function responsibilities, ERM and governance framework design, and hands‑on support with operational risk, operational resilience and DORA‑related requirements. I work directly with boards, CEOs and executive teams across banking, insurance and pension institutions.
