Technician for pulling and connecting RJ45 cables – Pharmaceutical site (Meyzieu)

• Intervention at a pharmaceutical chemical site specializing in drug manufacturing.

• Pulling RJ45 cables according to layout plans and current standards (computer network and Wi-Fi).

• Installation and connection of RJ45 sockets (crimping, continuity and performance tests).

• Installation of patch cords between sockets and Wi-Fi access points (antennas/APs) installed at height.

• Use of an aerial work platform to access elevated areas, respecting site safety regulations (ATEX, PPE, internal procedures).

• Verification of network functionality and compliance if necessary.

Verification of electrical installations (cabinets, circuit breakers, sockets, lighting, etc.) (Visual inspection of wiring to detect wear, excessive heat, or damage. Use of measuring instruments (multimeter, insulation tester, clamp meter). Reading electrical diagrams and plans.) Preventive maintenance. (Tightening electrical connections. Cleaning of cabinets and electrical panels (dust removal, terminal cleaning). Functional testing of safety devices (residual current devices, circuit breakers, relays, etc.). Preventive replacement of aging components (lamps, contactors, fuses…). Corrective maintenance. (Troubleshooting electrical faults: identifying the cause, repairing or replacing. Repairing defective motors, transformers, cables, or circuits. Recommissioning after safety tests.) Updates and compliance (Bringing installations up to standard according to regulations (NF C 15-100 in France). Application of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules.) Communication and reporting Communication with the maintenance team, supervisors, and sometimes other trades. Monitoring spare parts inventory.)
