Emma Oliveras

Emma OLIVERAS is a 26-year-old photographer from France, now based in Brussels.

A multidisciplinary artist, she moves between the worlds of travel, documentary, photojournalism, and portraiture. Her work is marked by a sensitive eye and a deeply human approach to the subjects she explores.

She is an alumni from SPEOS international photography school, where she graduated in photojournalism.

She has collaborated with the French media outlet Le Parisien as a press photographer and has distinguished herself through various documentary and travel projects. Among them, “Bedouins”, a photographic reportage focused on the Bedouin community living around the archaeological site of Petra, in Jordan, reflects her interest in life stories and cultures in transition.

She has also currently creating a photographic travel journal about Japan, which will soon be published as a book.

Alongside her artistic practice, Emma is working in the nonprofit sector, where she uses photography as a tool for social connection and knowledge sharing
