Participation in FIAN Belgium's political advocacy actions for the right to food, with European institutions and public actors, in an international context.

My responsibilities included:

Analysis of European and international public policies and regulatory frameworks related to agriculture, food, and human rights

Contribution to defining advocacy strategies and political positions

Drafting analysis notes, arguments, press releases, and political communication materials

Support for organizing and facilitating advocacy events (conferences, meetings, awareness campaigns)

Coordination with networks of NGOs, institutional actors, and civil society at the European level

This experience allowed me to develop a solid understanding of food governance issues, European decision-making mechanisms, and influence communication strategies, which I now apply in my sustainable development and food policy consulting assignments.

My responsibilities included:

Collection and analysis of field data (interviews, surveys, observations) from agricultural and territorial actors

Contribution to the analysis of agroecological transition trajectories and actor networks

Support for the scientific and logistical coordination of the project (organization of meetings, workshops, feedback sessions)

Participation in drafting deliverables (reports, summary notes, scientific communication materials)

Analysis of issues related to the sustainability of agricultural systems, health-environment, and food policies in Guadeloupe

This experience strengthened my knowledge of agricultural, environmental, and social issues in Guadeloupe, as well as my ability to bridge scientific research, territorial action, and operational support.
