Emilie Bapst

With a degree in Applied Foreign Languages, I have been a freelance translator and editor since 2018, after a brief stint in the military. I am passionate about foreign languages, a great lover of mountain hiking, coffee and beer, fresh bread, manual crafts, good food, Tolkien, and more.

In short, being a translator also means being interested in the world around us, being curious and eager to learn, doing research, and stepping out of your comfort zone.

I have over 5 years of experience in translating and editing (English > French) Christian literature with a major publishing house, so this is a field I particularly master. I also have a strong affinity for everyday topics and human matters in general.
