My work sits at the intersection of scientific evidence and instructional design: translating expert knowledge into learning experiences that produce measurable change, rather than training that merely fulfills a requirement.

I hold a PhD in Public Health Nutrition and spent several years as an Education Officer at EFAD, an experience that gave me insight into both sides of the equation: the evidence base for what constitutes effective learning, and the practical constraints that often prevent well-founded content from reaching its audience. Whether working with an organization developing a training program or an individual expert seeking to structure their knowledge into a course, my role is to close that gap between what the research supports and what learners actually receive.

Led global community engagement initiatives for healthcare professionals, working to build an active, connected network of practitioners interested in plant-based nutrition. This involved understanding what motivates healthcare professionals to engage with a community over time, and designing initiatives that kept participation meaningful rather than one-off.
Developed communication strategies to support plant-based nutrition advocacy, translating scientific findings and clinical guidance into messaging that resonated with different audiences, from individual practitioners to larger institutional stakeholders. The goal was to make the case for plant-based nutrition in a way that was accurate, credible, and persuasive without overstating the evidence.
Managed online communities and coordinated outreach campaigns, handling the daily work of keeping members engaged, answering questions, moderating discussions, and identifying opportunities to bring in new participants. This required a steady, consistent presence and an understanding of what makes online communities feel worth returning to.
Built relationships and partnerships with organizations, institutions, and individual experts around the world, laying the groundwork for collaborations that extended the reach and credibility of the initiative beyond what any single organization could achieve alone.
Built the infrastructure for an online course, working through the practical decisions involved in setting up a learning platform, from content structure to user experience, so that healthcare professionals could complete training in a way that fit their schedules and needs.
Created community engagement activities to support continuous learning, designing recurring touchpoints such as discussions, Q&A sessions, and shared resources that kept the community learning together over time, rather than treating education as a single event.

Coordinated capacity-building programs and training events under the Advocacy Institute, working with national and regional NCD alliances to strengthen their organizational capacity and advocacy skills. These programs were designed to equip alliance members with the tools and knowledge needed to influence policy and drive meaningful change within their own countries and regions.
Administered grants and technical assistance to support the day-to-day work of these alliances, managing the practical and administrative side of funding relationships while ensuring that resources were used effectively and in line with program objectives. This involved regular communication with grantees, monitoring progress against agreed milestones, and providing guidance when alliances encountered obstacles in their advocacy efforts.
Supported broader policy and advocacy work in global health and noncommunicable disease prevention, contributing to efforts aimed at raising the profile of NCDs on national and international policy agendas. This work required an understanding of both the technical aspects of NCD prevention and the political realities that shape how health policy gets made and implemented.
Implemented a program spanning ten key countries across different regions, coordinating activities aimed at preventing NCDs on a global scale. Managing a program of this geographic scope meant adapting approaches to fit different political systems, health infrastructures, and cultural contexts, while keeping the overall program coherent and aligned with its core objectives. The role called for close attention to the specific needs of each country while maintaining a consistent standard of quality and impact across all ten locations.

Designed, launched, and managed an international educational platform connecting dietitians across Europe, serving as a central hub for professional development and continuing education within the field. The platform was built to address a clear gap: practitioners across different countries lacked a unified, accessible space to access high-quality, evidence-based training and to exchange knowledge with peers facing similar clinical and public health challenges.
Led the strategic development of educational initiatives from concept through implementation, defining priorities, shaping project pipelines, and ensuring that each initiative aligned with both member needs and broader organizational goals. This involved balancing scientific accuracy with practical usability, and ensuring that content remained relevant across diverse national contexts and regulatory environments.
Coordinated cross-border collaborations among dietetic associations, subject-matter experts, and institutional partners, facilitating knowledge exchange between professionals operating in different healthcare systems and cultural settings. This required not only project management skills, but also the ability to navigate differing professional standards, languages, and stakeholder expectations across the European dietetics community.
Throughout this work, the emphasis remained on building sustainable structures, systems and processes that could continue generating value for the profession beyond any single initiative, while maintaining the rigor and credibility expected of an internationally recognized platform serving a scientific and clinical community.
