Hello, my name is Elsa. I obtained a degree in Italian from Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 in 2015.
Of French nationality, I completed all my schooling in Italy in bilingual educational institutions (elementary school, middle school, high school) and then spent a year at the University of Turin. During this entire period, I alternated between the two languages (for example, French with my family and Italian with my acquaintances or friends).
My professional goal is to become a translator. I have always loved translating and I enjoy being able to express myself orally and in writing, depending on the circumstances or situations, in either language.
Curious, I am particularly attentive to current events and developments in both countries in the cultural, economic, technological, and scientific fields.
I watch and read many media outlets.
Furthermore, I make frequent trips to Italy.
In addition to the numerous translations carried out during my university studies, which allowed me to acquire method and rigor, I carried out a series of translations for a professor at the University of Lausanne concerning creativity in elementary school.
Recently, I translated a book for teenagers (Un monde pour Sharon by Marzia Bosoni), from Italian to French, which was published as an e-book on the Apple, Kobo, and Tolino websites.
I am now self-employed and can translate from home.
Truly passionate, I have acquired excellent mastery in terms of knowledge transmission, while knowing how to convey the essential message.
