Elise Latify

After working for 7 years for data protection authorities (the CNIL in France and the European Data Protection Supervisor in Brussels), I have been working for myself for eight years and as a lawyer re-enrolled at the bar since January 2023. I specialize in privacy and personal data protection for public or private entities, in France and abroad.

Currently, this expertise leads me to work as a lawyer in data and privacy protection for a large French company, hotel groups, an artistic foundation, and two start-ups that I assist in bringing their practices into compliance with the new applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). I also work with my clients on the procedures to implement, communication methods with their clients on data protection, new trends in the field, legal design, training, and awareness-raising for their teams... I act as an external DPO or support for the DPO team.

In parallel, I teach in the Master 2 program 'Europe in the World' at the IEP of Rennes. I have also occasionally worked as an expert in personal data protection for the Data Protection Committee of the Council of Europe.
