My intervention consists of rethinking a strategy at two levels: facilitating top management's decision-making by proposing areas for improvement and suggesting tactical choices, and reworking the operational aspects of purchasing to enable users to have their needs represented. This methodology requires a dual role and the use of lean and six sigma methodologies to increase stakeholder buy-in to the project, reduce the effects of hyper-procedures, and rationalize the purchasing project to enhance its effectiveness within the framework of contract execution.
